The Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary is set amidst the pine trees on the shores of picturesque Loch Creran.
The Sanctuary combines an aquarium full of interesting species such as axolotl, turtles and native sharks; an interactive Conservation Cove area where children can learn about the issues facing marine wildlife, and four resident seals in their newly refurbished seal pools. Visit resident otter, Lewis, and learn all about him and during our daily otter talks. Explore the Turtle Sanctuary and visit the interactive touchpool, where visitors can touch and hold sea creatures, then take a walk along our Nutkins’ Nature Trail.
The Sanctuary offers over 50 natural marine displays, daily talks and demonstrations by our animal care team, gift shop and shoreline coffee shop.
